Roku Guest Mode

Enjoy easy access to your favorite streaming services during your stay. With Roku Guest Mode, you can log in to your own accounts, watch what you love, and then rest assured your information will be automatically cleared when you check out. No need to worry about signing out — Roku does it for you, so your stay is hassle-free and secure.

Garbage & Recycling

Ottawa’s waste collection in our neighbourhood runs every Thursday, alternating weekly between garbage with the blue bin (plastics/metal/glass) and the black bin (cardboard/paper). The green bin (organic waste and yard clippings) is collected every week. If a holiday falls during the week, pickup shifts to Friday.

Safety Equipment

Your safety is our top priority. For peace of mind during your stay, the home is equipped with:

• First Aid Kit: Located in the kitchen cabinets above the stove.

• Fire Extinguisher: Stored inside the living room console cabinets.

• Smoke Detectors: Hard-wired on every level of the house.

• Carbon Monoxide Detector: Installed in the basement near the sink.

LED Potlight Modes

The potlights throughout the house are designed for comfort and ambiance. Here’s how they work:

• Day Mode: Turn the switch on once.

• Night Mode: Turn the switch off, then on again quickly — this toggles the lights to a softer evening setting.

• Off: Simply switch them off as normal.

Most potlights also have dimmer controls, allowing you to adjust the brightness to your liking.

Door Locks

Both the front and back doors are equipped with Weiser San Clemente/Halifax SmartCode locks in matte black.

• To unlock, enter the access code provided in your check-in instructions, then the lock will open/unlock and you can press down on the bottom door handle latch to open the door.

• To lock, simply press the lock button on the keypad when leaving or before bed — no code required. The back door has a thicker weather seal and it’s helpful to pull the door towards you when you push the lock button to ensure the lock properly locks. You will hear beeping and see the keypad lightup to confirm you have locked the door. It’s always helpful to test after locking to ensure the door is fully locked.

Parking Instructions

Guests have a dedicated parking space located directly behind the property, marked with the 820 label. Please ensure vehicles are parked fully within this space and do not block the laneway, as it must remain clear for other residents to access their parking.

For additional or temporary parking, free street parking is available during most times of the year (subject to city seasonal rules and signage).
